No.2 All Pine

This entire project came about when my son Jay asked me to make something to

display his latest trophy, an 8-point buck skull. I experimented for a while,

made a few prototypes, and eventually produced No.s 1 & 2.

They are identical, and I'm guessing probably the only two that ever will be.

In some ways I am more proud of these two than any of the others;

they are the simplest, yes, but...

they were first, and as such, the most difficult.

They are finished with six rubbed coats of marine varnish.
